  • To provide a caring and supportive service for elderly people of African Caribbean descent who are inhabitants fo Central/South Manchester, Trafford and surrounding neighbourhoods thereof.
  • To provide a meeting place for elderly African Caribbean people to enable those who are infirm and disabled to meet with others and keep in touch with their local community.
  • To provide culturally appropriate activities and food and to promote living in the community.
  • To develop community care services which can be delivered to people in their own homes and the Day Centre, thus providing a range of services to elderly and disabled African Caribbean people.
  • To work in conjunction with the health services to promote health and social welfare initiatives and offer a local venue for clinics and other health activities to enable African Caribbean people to have a better quality of life.
  • To promote the health of such people and to relieve those who are infirm and sick.
  • To assist in the provision and delivery of better housing conditions for African Caribbean elderly people.
